Welcome to Kirton in Lindsey Archery Club (KLAC).
We are a relatively young club based in Kirton-In-Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
KLAC was set up in June 2014 by Tony Kitchen and is based at KLASSIC Park Fields, Ings Road, Kirton in Lindsey, DN21 4BX.
We are a friendly, supportive and welcoming club for anyone over seven years of age and cater for all abilities (under 16's must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times).
We have seven coaches qualified to Archery GB Level 1 who support all members of the club from beginners through to competitive archers.
Members shoot a range of bow types from Recurve, Compound, Longbow and American Flat Bow. All are welcome.
We shoot at two venues: KLASSIC Park and John Leggot College in Scunthorpe. See Find Us for times and locations.
We shoot at bosses from 10yds to over 200yds at KLASSIC
Indoors at the JLC we shoot 20yds - 30yds
We also offer excellent value Beginners Courses
The Club is now open to shoot on a members only basis. Members must follow the Covid advice by booking a place on the range, and being familiar with rules for being at a shoot, including hand sanitising, equipment handling and social distancing.
There will be no indoor shooting this year.
Unfortunately, we cannot run any public events. If you wish to register for future updates send us a message either through the website or via Facebook.
Please stay safe at this difficult time and look after each other and we will be back shooting as notmal as soon as possible.
KLAC now a Community Specialist Club with the Archery GB onTarget scheme
Community specialism clubs seek to explore ways to allow the local community easy access to the sport, consistently working towards providing opportunities for as many people as possible and is aware of the barriers that exist but seeks out solutions to overcome them.
Community specialist clubs are seen as places where people can enjoy a high quality archery experience with excellent social, training and competition opportunities.
